Welcome to the wilderness and welcome to the club (*belly drum roll*), Not a Boy’s Club.
To guide you on your quest into the heart of queerness are your Camp Councilors, Bianca Cordez and Chiara Stegert.
You won’t learn to tie knots, or how to start a fire (or anything practical to our parents’ despair). But you might learn how to insufferably display your carabiner at all times (belt loop, above right-hand pocket), or how to become the emergency contact for a girl you just met in the Greaser bathrooms, and some other stuff that they didn’t teach you at Year 6 camp in Emu Creek.
Alongside your Gay Guides are some of Australia’s brightest and best queer, femme, and non-binary identifying comedians. Pack your Poppy Lissiman bumbag, pitch your tent, get ready for some camp comedy chaos and a summer you’ll never forget (technically, it will be Autumn, but you catch the drift).
